Road from Monaco to la Turbie

Here is a quick one that you can do any time of the year ! Except it might get chilly in the winter…

There are a lot of twisties, some straights if you want to go faster and superb coastal panoramic views.

The best views can be seen in the evening just before the sunset and going from Monaco to Nice, like the GPX file below.

Starting Point

Starting from Monaco, you have to take Moyenne Corniche (medium ridge road) going to Nice and take the first turn right leading to la Turbie.

If you get this right, you should soon see a view like the one above, on the first hairpin.

Heads up

You should be careful as this road is very dangerous in case of a crash, some parts are very high up and you wouldn’t survive falling from such height.

Watch out as this road can be slippery at moments, especially in the shadows and even more in winter or in the evening.

Also, there is a big bump in the road just here, in front of this house:

Be on the lookout for that one or you might take off !
